Salient’s batteries are optimized for stationary storage and they are cheaper, safer and longer lasting than other batteries on the market. Salient’s zinc-ion batteries have a low lifetime cost and are built on a fire-proof non-toxic chemistry. As they don’t contain lithium, nickel or cobalt, the batteries won’t face material shortages anytime soon, as opposed to the traditional lithium-ion batteries.
